This course equips the student with all the skills necessary for one to work in the Accounts Office as an Accounts Assistant. It is a full accounting qualification by itself but one may wish to further it up to CPA (K). The course is divided into two levels, namely the Intermediate and Final Levels, each level covering five subjects.
Intermediate level

  • Introduction to Financial Accounting
  • Introduction to law
  • Entrepreneurship and Communication
  • Principles of management
  • Business Mathematics

 

Final level

  • Fundamentals of information communication technology
  • Cost Accounting
  • Financial Accounting
  • Auditing
  • Taxation

Entry Requirements: Atleast “D+” (D plus) passes or its equivalent.
