The AFTI Main Campus located at Hazina Trade Centre in Nairobi serves as the flagship campus and headquarters of the College of Human Resource Management. First opened over 30 years ago, this pioneering campus kickstarted AFTI’s mission to provide quality higher education programs focused on human resources and business.

Generations of students have passed through the doors of the Main Campus to earn diplomas, higher diplomas, and now even some degree programs. With decades of history and the longest track record among AFTI’s campuses, the Nairobi Main Campus has developed an extensive alumni network and reputation as the heart of the AFTI institution. It houses the central administration and leadership of the college. Prospective students visiting AFTI are often first introduced to the college through orientation and open days held on the bustling Main Campus in Kenya’s capital city. Its longevity and central role make the AFTI Main Campus an important hub and the most established site within the growing AFTI college system.

    Transportations

    There are many options to getn to the campus.

    Here are some tips on how to travel to the AFTI Main Campus in Nairobi:

    • The Main Campus is located in the Central Business District of Nairobi at Hazina Trade Centre on Monrovia Street. Hazina Trade Centre is a large commercial building close to major roads like Haile Selassie Avenue.
    • For public transportation, you can take a matatu or city bus heading into the CBD and ask to be dropped off at Hazina Trade Centre. The Trade Centre is a well-known landmark so drivers will know it.
      From the main bus station in Nairobi, you can also catch a city bus or matatu that goes down Haile Selassie Avenue. Get off at the Uchumi Supermarket stop which is just a short walk from Hazina Trade Centre.
    • If taking a taxi, provide the driver with the name Hazina Trade Centre and they will be able to find it easily. Traffic and parking can be challenging so leave extra time.
    • Hazina Trade Centre is accessible from major highways like Mombasa Road, Langata Road, and Uhuru Highway once you get into downtown Nairobi. Follow signs to the CBD.
    • When you arrive at Hazina, take the elevators up to the 13th Floor where the AFTI Main Campus reception is located.
    • Give yourself plenty of extra time to account for Nairobi traffic when commuting during busy hours. Leaving early can ensure an on-time arrival.
